Sentry's Wireless Communicator uses the cellular phone system, but it communicates on the secure digital part of the network with 2-way signaling. It does not require a cellular phone number, and does not make actual calls. Therefore, there are no busy signals or dropped calls.

How does it work?
When your security system detects an emergency it will send a signal to our central station in the traditional way over the phone lines. At the same time it will be sending a signal to our central station by means of your wireless radio transmitter. Sending the signal simultaneously over both forms of communication ensures that the signal will get through even if your telephone is out of service, due to severe weather, construction, or vandalism.
